If someone is violating these rules, please report them in a ticket in our Discord server.

If you believe these rules should be modified in any way, or have a suggestion for a new rule, don’t hesitate to open a ticket in our Discord server.

Community Chat

These rules apply to all chat areas moderated by GameHawk. This includes but is not limited to the GameHawk Discord and Minecraft servers.

General Misconduct

• Everyone must treat everyone with respect, no matter their race, gender, heritage, religion, sexual orientation, size, cultural background, ability, nationality, etc.
• Harassment, toxicity, bigotry, sexism, racism, discrimination, and hate speech are prohibited.
• Spamming messages or flooding the chat is prohibited.
• Speaking of or encouraging self harm or suicide is prohibited.
• Threatening others with death, violence, abuse, or any kind of mistreatment is prohibited.
• Discussion of controversial opinion-based world topics that could create an unsafe environment is prohibited.
• Intentionally raising microphone volume to extreme or unbearable levels is prohibited.
• Swearing is prohibited.
• Bypassing chat filters is prohibited.

Mature Content

No NSFW, explicit, or adult content of any kind. This includes:

• Nudity
• Sex
• Violence
• Gore
• Slavery
• Anything else the moderation team deems adult content

Any hinting at said content is also against the rules.

If you’re not sure, don’t post it.

Sensitive Topics

The discussion of sensitive or triggering topics that could disrupt the chat or create an unsafe or hostile environment are prohibited. Here is a list of some examples:

• Real-world war
• Real-world politics
• Real-world violence
• Controversial real-world events
• Bullying
• Self harm or suicide
• Hatespeech
• Death or violence threats

Minecraft Server Gameplay

These rules apply to the actual gameplay of the GameHawk Minecraft server. The Community Chat rules do also apply to the Minecraft server.

Unfair Advantages

• Using any game modifications/cheats that provide an unfair advantage is not allowed.
• Using a resourcepack or mod to X-ray in any shape or form for any purpose is prohibited.
• Exploiting any Minecraft or GameHawk bugs/glitches that provide and unfair advantage is not allowed.
• Using fullbright/gamma enhancing mods or packs are allowed.

Allowed Game Modifications

The following Minecraft modifications are allowed while playing on the GameHawk Minecraft server:

• Lunar Client
• BadLion Client
• Feather Client
• LabyMod
• Cosmic Client
• Meteor Client
• Melon Client
• OptiFine
• Sodium
• Lithium
• Iris
• If you don’t see the client or mod you use, open a ticket in our Discord server and ask us! If we approve it, we’ll add it here.

The following types of Minecraft modifications are allowed while playing on the GameHawk Minecraft server:

• Aesthetic modifications or resource packs are allowed – this does NOT include X-ray modifications or resource packs
• Cosmetic HUD modifications or resource packs are allowed

Alternate Account Abuse

Using alternate accounts to bypass penalty or to gain an unfair advantage is not allowed.
